Policies

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests, we kindly ask that you review and adhere to the following house policies. These guidelines help us maintain the charm and tranquility of Humphrey House for everyone.

House Rules

Smoking Policy

Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only. All indoor spaces are strictly non-smoking to ensure the comfort of all guests.

Candles & Open Flames

For safety reasons, lit candles are not permitted in guest rooms. We're happy to provide alternative ambient lighting upon request.

Pet Policy

We regret that we are unable to accommodate pets at this time. Service animals are welcome with advance notice.

Room Keys

Each guest will be provided with a skeleton key for their room. Loss of this key will result in a $100 replacement fee, as these are specialty antique keys unique to our historic property.

Reservation Policies

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to your scheduled check-in date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Room Rates & Occupancy

Our rates are based on double occupancy. Additional guests staying in the Heritage Room will be charged $50 per person, per day.

Taxes charged: 6% state sales & use, 1% state transient, 3% county transient & 3% credit card processing fee.

Accessibility Notice

Please note that all guest rooms are located on the second floor and are accessible only via staircases. Unfortunately, we do not have elevator access at this time.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share data with trusted service providers necessary to run our business, such as:

  • Wix.com: Our website hosting and booking platform

  • Secure gateways to safely process your payments

Our website is hosted on the Wix platform, which provides secure SSL encryption to protect your data during checkout. While we take commercial standards seriously to safeguard your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
