The Kentucky Bourbon Trail in Bardstown

Bardstown, just 9 miles from Bloomfield, is home to more bourbon distilleries per square mile than anywhere else on Earth. This historic town has been crafting America's native spirit for over 200 years, and today represents both the heritage and innovation of bourbon making.

Planning Your Bourbon Trail Experience: Tours and tastings often sell out 30-90 days in advance, so we highly recommend booking early. Most distillery visits last 1-2 hours, and visiting 2-3 distilleries per day is a comfortable pace. Remember to designate a driver or book a guided tour service for a worry-free experience!

One of Kentucky's most comprehensive bourbon experiences, featuring both the historic visitor center and the brand-new Heaven Hill Springs Distillery. Tour historic rickhouses, learn about the Bottled-in-Bond Act, and taste award-winning bourbons. Choose from over a dozen different tour and tasting experiences, including access to specialty products like the elegant Willett Pot Still Reserve. Enjoy The Bar at Willett, serving seasonally inspired small plates and craft cocktails.

One of Bardstown's newest distilleries, blending timeless craft with modern innovation. Home to renowned brands including Rebel Yell, Ezra Brooks, David Nicholson, and the highly regarded Blood Oath series.
